13.7 ≈

Solution

When rounding the decimals to the nearest whole number, to decide whether to round up or stay the same, look at the number to the right of the ones place.

If the number is 5 or greater, round the ones place up and drop the digits after the ones place;

If the number is less than 5, stay the same number and drop the digits after the ones place.

7 is greater than 5.

So 13.7 ≈ 14.
