The circumference of a circle is 75.36 cm. What is the circle’s radius? (Take π = 3.14)

The radius of the circle is cm.

Solution

The circumference of the circle is:

2 × π × R

 = 75.36 cm

So the radius is:

75.36 ÷ 2 ÷ 3.14 = 12 cm
